Product Care

Wool is a 100% natural fibre, and with the right care, our throws, blankets, and clothing can last for generations. Below we detail how to keep them looking their best.

Throws

  • Not suitable for machine washing (heat and spin may cause shrinkage or loss of shape).
  • If you are comfortable washing wool, please view our complete guide on how to wash wool here.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Iron on a low, relaxed setting (max. 110°C).
  • For the best results, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Bedding Blankets

  • We recommend dry cleaning only, as this ensures the blankets are treated with the correct methods.
  • If you are comfortable washing wool, please view our complete guide on how to wash wool here.
  • Not suitable for washing at home, especially not in a washing machine.

Clothing

Wool garments are easier to care for than many think - just a little extra attention makes them last beautifully.

Washing:
Most pieces should be hand-washed only (unless otherwise stated).

  • View our complete guide on how to wash wool here.
  • Avoid wringing or rubbing - gently squeeze out water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry flat on a towel to absorb excess moisture.

Extra Tip:
We recommend using our wooden wool comb to gently remove pills and keep knitwear looking like new.

Storing Knitwear:

  • Always store knitwear clean, especially over summer.
  • Fold neatly and keep in a breathable bag or drawer to protect from moths.

Fabrics

Dry cleaning is recommended for wool fabrics, especially for cushions, upholstery, or decorative use.

For light care at home:

  • Gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent.
  • Avoid scrubbing - blot stains instead.
  • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • For larger items or frequent use, we recommend professional upholstery cleaning to preserve the fabric’s quality and shape.
