Proudly handmade by a family-run Canterbury company, these New Zealand–made socks combine premium merino wool with durable construction for all-day comfort, warmth, and reliability. Naturally breathable, soft, and insulating, they help keep feet warm in cold conditions while staying comfortable through long days on the farm, at work, or outdoors.
Available in Thermal and Boot Sock styles, with a unisex fit and a range of sizes, Farm Tough Merino Socks are made for people who expect more from their gear: tough enough to work in, comfortable enough to live in.

Description for each type of wool sock
The Thermal sock is specially designed to insulate your feet in cold conditions and help keep your skin dry. The extra padding at the toe and heel helps to protect against friction and blisters inside tight or heavy footwear. They are ideal for Farming, outdoor work, hiking, snowboarding, or just lounging around. Quality made and made in Sheffield, Canterbury.
The boot sock is designed with extra elastic at the foot and ankle to stop bunching. Arch support which reduces foot fatigue and muscle strain during long days on your feet. The ankle band prevents the sock from rubbing against the back of your boot. The Boot sock is perfect for Hiking, hunting, walking, Skiing, and Motorcross.

How long will it take for my purchase to be delivered?

Do you offer exchanges?
Yes, you can exchange your product for another item in our store within 14 days of purchase.
What is your return policy?
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll refund your money, guaranteed. You’re also welcome to exchange your product for any other item in our store.
How do I care for my product?
THROWS:
- Do not wash your throw in the washing machine. The heat can cause shrinkage, and the spinning can cause loss of shape.
- This product is not suitable for bleaching.
- When ironing this product, use a cool setting with a max temperature of 110 degrees Celcius.
- Cleaning this product will require professional dry cleaning.
BEDDING BLANKETS:
Wool is a 100% natural fibre and with the right care our blankets and throws can last for generations. We recommend dry cleaning.
KNITWEAR:
Please refer to the instructions on the label for care instructions.
How easy is it to look after knitwear?
It’s not that difficult to look after your wool. It may not be as simple as other garments which can be thrown in a washing machine, but it’s not as hard as many believe. If you follow the instructions carefully you’ll discover that it will be worth the extra effort.
How do I wash my cashmere?
Most of our wool is hand wash unless otherwise stated. Do not wring or rub as this will stretch your garment. Rinse thoroughly but carefully and dry flat on a towel to help soak up any excess water.
How do I store my cashmere?
During the warmer months, chances are your knitwear won’t be worn as much as they were during the winter. Because of this you need to ensure that they are properly stored and protected. Always ensure your cashmere is clean before storing.

What are the sizes for the products?
Wool throws sizes:
185cm x 140cm approximately for tasseled Merino and Pure Wool throws & 115cm x 180cm for blanket stitch throws.
New Zealand Wool Bedding Blankets sizes:
Throw (115x180cm), Single (180x230cm), Queen (230x255cm), and King (255x280cm).
